A nutrition plan is the container for your meals and daily targets - you build it out once, then log against it every day. Create one whenever you're starting a new diet phase or want a separate plan for a different goal.
1. Open your nutrition plans
From the Nutrition tab, tap the clipboard icon in the header to open Meal plans (Koach's name for the list of nutrition plans). Tap New plan.

2. Name your plan
Give it a name you'll recognize later - something like "Cut" or "Maintenance" works well if you keep more than one plan around.

3. Set daily targets (optional)
Under Daily targets (optional), fill in Protein (g), Carbs (g), and Fat (g). You don't have to set all three - leave any of them blank if you're not tracking it yet.
As soon as you enter at least one macro, Koach shows the calories that follow from it: "≈ N kcal (calculated from macros)". You never enter calories directly - they're always derived from protein, carbs, and fat.
4. Create the plan
Tap Create plan. Koach creates the plan with its default meals (Morning, Lunch, Dinner, Snack) and takes you straight to the plan editor, where you can start building out your meals.
When it goes wrong
- "Create plan" does nothing. The plan needs a name - an empty name field blocks submission.
- The kcal line never appears. It only shows once at least one of protein, carbs, or fat has a value.
