Once a plan exists, each day starts empty. This is where you pick exercises from the library (or add your own) and set what you're aiming for on each one - sets, a rep range, and how long to rest between sets.
1. Open the day you want to fill
From the workout tab, tap Manage plans, then tap Open plan on the plan you want. Select the day's tab at the top of the editor - every day the plan has is a tab there, whether or not it has exercises yet.

2. Add an exercise
Tap Add exercise. Search the exercise library by name, optionally narrow the results with the Muscle group and Equipment filters, then tap the exercise you want.

Don't see it in the library? Tap Add custom exercise right there in the search screen - see Add a custom exercise for the full form.
3. Set your targets
Set the exercise's targets before confirming:
- Sets - how many sets to log.
- Min reps / Max reps - the rep range you're aiming for. A newly added exercise starts at 3 sets, 10–10 reps, 60 sec rest; widen the range or change any of it before confirming.
- Rest - how long to rest between sets: no rest, 30 sec, 45 sec, 60 sec, 90 sec, 2 min, or 3 min.
Tap Add to plan to confirm. The exercise appears in the day with a letter badge (A, B, C…) marking its order.
4. Adjust as you go
Every exercise in the day can be reordered (the up/down arrows), removed (the trash icon, with a confirmation), or expanded/collapsed to show or hide its targets. Targets are editable any time - just change the sets, rep range, or rest, and it saves as you type.
When the plan belongs to your coach
If your coach built this plan, the editor opens read-only: no add, no remove, no quantity or target you can change. A banner at the top names the coach and offers Duplicate to edit, which hands you an editable copy, the same name with (copy) appended, and leaves your coach's original alone. Logging against the coach's plan works normally either way.
Recent changes
At the foot of the editor, a Recent changes list shows who touched this plan and when - you, your coach, or an assistant you've connected over MCP. Each row names what changed, with its old and new value, like a rest time going from 60 sec to 90 sec. It's read-only: nothing here can be edited or cleared. Entries are kept for a month and then removed automatically; once none are left, the empty state says so instead of just looking blank.
When it goes wrong
- "Add exercise" isn't visible. Make sure a day tab is selected - an editor with no days yet shows Add day instead. Add a day first.
- The exercise you searched for isn't in the library. The library search only covers its name - if it's genuinely missing, add it as a custom exercise from the same search screen instead of guessing at a different name.
