Questions, answered
Everything coaches and the people they coach ask, before and after they start. Where a full walkthrough exists, the answer links to it.
Getting started
Yes. For clients Koach is free always. For coaches it is in beta and completely free during the beta, and joining during the beta keeps you on a founding-coach plan for life: free, up to 10 clients.
A Google account. Sign-in is one tap and there is no password to remember. Sign in with Apple arrives together with the iOS app.
No. Set a goal and Koach works out your calorie and macro targets for you - you can log your first meal a minute later.
Read the full guideFrom your height, weight, age, activity level and goal: Koach estimates your daily burn, then adds or subtracts for gaining or losing. Every number stays editable - override any of them by hand.
Read the full guideNo. Koach runs in the browser on any phone or computer. Add it to your home screen and it opens full-screen, like an app.
Nutrition
Open the day, pick the meal, and confirm what you actually ate. Quantities adjust per item, and the day total updates as you go.
Read the full guideYes - Israeli supermarket products and brands, alongside generic staples. Search works in Hebrew and in English, and ranks exact matches first.
Read the full guideAdd it once as a custom food - per 100 g or per unit - and it is yours to reuse in every plan and every day from then on.
Read the full guideYes. Edit it and every place that uses it follows, so a typo in a serving size does not stay baked into old days.
Read the full guideA repeatable day: the meals you intend to eat, with items and quantities. Each day starts from the active plan, and logging is confirming or changing it.
Read the full guideYes. Give a meal alternatives - rice or potatoes, chicken or tuna - and pick per day without rebuilding the plan.

A plan is a set of training days. Each day holds exercises with target sets and reps, and you activate one plan at a time.
Read the full guidePick them from the exercise library, then set targets per exercise. Order is yours to rearrange.
Read the full guideYes. Group exercises into a superset and they run back to back during the workout, with one rest at the end of the round.
Read the full guideStart the workout and confirm each set as you finish it - weight and reps, with last time’s numbers in front of you.
Read the full guideA catalog with the muscles each exercise works and a demo video where one exists, in Hebrew and English.
Read the full guideYes - add your own, tag the muscles it works, and it behaves like any other exercise in plans and workouts.

A short weekly record - weight and how the week felt - that turns single days into a trend you can actually read.
Read the full guideYes, in fixed poses so they are comparable. They are private to your account, and sharing them with a coach is a separate choice you make.
Read the full guideThe progress screen: weight trend over time, check-in history, and before-and-after comparisons built from your photos.
Read the full guideNothing breaks. Yesterday stays open for you to fill in, and a gap shows as a gap rather than as a zero - an untracked day is not a day you ate nothing.
Coaches
Turn on coach mode, invite each client with a link, and work inside their plans from your own account - with whatever they chose to share. Completely free during the beta, and free for up to 10 clients afterwards for founding coaches.
Read the full guideExactly what they granted and nothing else - workouts, nutrition, check-ins and photos are separate permissions, each one off until the client turns it on.
With edit access, yes - you build and adjust their nutrition and workout plans from your own account, and plans you touched are marked as yours.
Read the full guideAt any time, from their settings. Access stops immediately, and they can narrow a single permission instead of cutting the connection entirely.
Your coach sends you an invite link. Opening it shows their name and a consent screen - you choose, scope by scope, what to share before anything connects.
Read the full guideAI assistants
Yes. Koach runs an MCP server, so you connect it once and then ask your assistant about your real training and nutrition data.
Read the full guideIt reads everything and it manages: it can build, edit, activate and archive nutrition and workout plans, add custom foods and exercises, and update your targets. It cannot log for you.
Read the full guideBecause logging is a deliberate act you do in the moment, where you can see what you confirm. An assistant that logs for you turns a record of what you did into a record of what it guessed.
Nothing is copied anywhere. The assistant talks to Koach directly using your own account, limited by the same permissions the app uses. Whatever it reads during a conversation is then handled by that assistant under its own policy.
Read the full guideNo. The AI drafts from your client's own data, you read it, change what needs changing and send it. If you can read a plan, you can work with Koach.
Platforms and languages
The web app works on any phone or computer today, and installs to your home screen. A native iOS app with widgets is on the way; Android follows.
Fully. Hebrew and English are equal citizens - right-to-left layout included - and the food database is Israeli, not translated.
Yes, from settings, and the whole app follows immediately - including layout direction, dates and numbers.
Koach needs a connection to load and save your data. Go offline and it tells you rather than failing silently, then picks up when you reconnect - offline logging is not supported yet.
Privacy and account
It is yours. It is stored securely, it is never sold, and each row is readable only by the account that owns it - enforced in the database, not just in the app.
Yes, from settings, yourself. Deleting removes your account and the data attached to it - plans, logs, check-ins and photos included.
No to both. There are no ads and no data sales, and analytics only run if you accept them - declining leaves the app fully usable.
No other tracker lets an AI assistant read your actual data. Connect ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini and it plans from your real meals and workouts - and nutrition, training, check-ins and photos live in one app instead of three subscriptions.
Your data and your clients' data stay yours. Full export any time on request, and every client keeps their own account. Leaving deletes nothing.
90 days notice and a full export before that. Founding coaches are never left without their data.
