Once a client accepts your invite, their data shows up inside your own account - scoped to exactly what they chose to share, and nothing more. Use this to find your way around a client's tabs, understand what a "Not shared" section means, and know what removing someone actually does.
1. Open a client from your roster
Go to Settings → My clients, then select a client under Your clients to open their tabs: Overview, Nutrition, Workout, and Progress.

2. Only what they've shared is visible
Each tab mirrors what your client has granted, scope by scope, and nothing else:

- If they set Workouts or Nutrition to Don't share, that tab shows a Not shared message instead of their data - they'd need to grant at least view access from their own settings for you to see anything.
- If they set either to View only, you can look but any editing controls stay locked - they'd need to upgrade you to View & edit for changes to save.
- Check-ins and progress photos work the same way as separate on/off toggles - a client can share their workouts and nutrition without ever turning either of those on.
- Their personal settings and goals are never shared with coaches, in any scope.
Assume a section could be empty until you see otherwise - a new client with no scopes granted yet, or one who's deliberately keeping check-ins private, is normal, not a bug.
3. Edit their plans where you have access
Where a client has granted View & edit, you can create, edit, and activate their nutrition and workout plans from the matching tab, exactly like you would your own.

4. Remove a client
If you no longer coach someone, open the Coaching page, tap the trash icon on their row, and confirm Remove in the dialog. They lose your access immediately, and reconnecting later needs a brand-new invite - removing doesn't leave a paused link behind.
Recent changes
Their Overview tab ends with a Recent changes list too, but scoped to your own actions on that client only - never their own edits, and never another coach's. Each row names what you changed and when, with the value it went from and to. It's read-only and drops entries after a month, exactly like the list on the trainee's own plan screens. It shows up whether or not they've shared anything else with you yet, since it's your history, not theirs.
What the trainee sees, and who may edit
A plan you author sits in your client's account but stays yours to edit. They see it badged Coach plan, read-only, with your name on the banner - they can follow it and log against it, and if they want their own version they duplicate it, which leaves your original untouched.
The boundary runs both ways: you cannot edit plans the trainee built for themselves, nor plans another of their coaches authored. Those show as Built by the trainee or Built by another coach in the list.
When it goes wrong
- A tab says "Not shared." Your client hasn't granted that scope yet (or scaled it back). Ask them to review it from Settings → My coaches on their own account - this can't be changed from your side.
- You had edit access and it's gone. Your client can downgrade or revoke access at any time; it takes effect on your next load, not retroactively.
- A client's screen says "Access ended." They removed you, or revoked your access. Nothing to fix - they'd need to send a new invite to reconnect.
- Adding a food or exercise for a client fails. They've hit their own custom-food (200) or custom-exercise (100) limit; ask them to remove one first.
